One of my private client’s is looking for an experienced pastry chef (Sous) to work in their new restaurant, an exciting new fine dining establishment based in Manama, Bahrain. The restaurant and kitchen has undergone an amazing transformation and delivers a state of the art environment to cook in.
We are looking for a chef with a strong pastry background, preferably with Michelin experience. You will need to be a strong team player and focused on delivering an unrivalled customer experience.
You will be rewarded with an excellent package that includes: holiday, medical, accommodation, return flights and tips.
Must be willing to fly to Bahrain and carry out a 2-day trial, client to cover expenses
Previous experience in a Michelin establishment
Excellent work history demonstrating longevity
Good spoken and written English language skills
£20,000 - £24,000 per year
Accommodation – own room in shared furnished apartment
Paid return flight home – once every two years
Medical as covered by Bahrain law
Tips – shared between staff
21 days holiday plus public holidays (currently 15), main holidays to be taken during Ramadan
Probation - 3 months, with 24 hours notice required
